The VVMBA will be conducting a lottery/draft for all the interested trail adopters on Tuesday June 21st at the Dusty Boot in Beaver Creek at 6pm. All trails will be adopted to those people present at this event. If you are interested in adopting a trail for your group or organization, make sure to have at least one person attend. For those people that can’t attend the lottery and IF there are still trails left for adoption, we will make those remaining trails available for a few days following the event.

Once your organization adopts a trail, we ask that the group’s designated leader attend a training workshop on Saturday June 25th or Tuesday June 28th. Any or all interested volunteers with your organization are welcome to attend. This training will last about 3 hours and include a classroom lecture as well as field work outside. After this training we will invite you to choose 2-3 days throughout the summer to schedule your team’s work days with our supervision. Only 20 trails will be open for adoption this year, so get your name in the draft!
